Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 2003 Jaguar S-Type R with 17,713 actual miles for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Jaguar S-Type sedan is a model introduced in 1999 (for the 2000 model year) by the British Jaguar luxury division of the Ford Motor Company. The name was a revival of a previous Jaguar model, the S-Type, introduced originally in 1964. And for 2003, a new addition to Jaguar's popular S-Type line is primed to expose those racy roots even more. This Jaguar is for the driver who wants sports-car performance with luxo-sedan convenience and comfort, it doesn't get any better than this. It can get fancier, it can entail even more power, and it can get a whole lot more expensive. But not better, when better is defined as quicker and more agile. From behind the wood and leather steering wheel, the changes and upgrades wrought to the cabin are substantial. The previous instrument panel, with its half-moon-shaped upper-console section, has been tossed in favor of a more traditional and elegant design. The leather is more supple, the ergonomics have improved, and the materials appear more upscale than those in previous S-Types. A new single-piece magnesium casting lies at the foundation of the entire dash panel, tightening fixed points for attachment of all related components. Jaguar's adaptive restraint system, which tailor's airbag deployment according to occupant size and position, has now found its way into the S-Type from more costly models. The exterior is finished in Quartz, with silver and black accents. The carmaker enhanced the front of the car with a new apron that lost the fog lights but gained on the aerodynamic look. On the sides, the S-Type R featured specific side sills, while in the back, it received a new bumper. A lip-spoiler decorated the redesigned trunk lid. It's chromed slat that spread between the taillights showed the Jaguar lettering broader than on the non-facelifted version. The supercharged S-Type R joined the lineup in 2003. The R is powered by a supercharged V8 producing 390 hp (291 kW) and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 s (0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 s). It includes 18 in (457 mm) wheels, a wire mesh grille and dramatic monochromatic paint. The R also has a sportier front fascia with fog lamps built-in, a matte black rear spoiler, a brace located near the rear subframe, and R badging on the rear deck lid and both front fenders. Vehicle Warranty
Classic Car Addict is a consignment dealership; therefore, we sell cars that are not new and have surpassed their normal life expectancy. For this reason, the vehicles Classic Car Addict often sells require greater maintenance and repair. Most of our vehicles that we sell are considered classics, antiques, and high performance, meaning that they are older or modified or both and most times have dated automotive technology. Although Classic Car Addict does perform a visual and driven safety inspection of the vehicle upon arrival, we cannot make any warranty, guarantee or representation regarding the accuracy truth, or reliability of information we are provided by the consignors. We sell our vehicles AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties expressed, written or implied. ANy representations or descriptions are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. All sales are final. Potential buyers are aware it is his/her/they/their responsibility to either inspect personally or hire a third-party inspection company prior to the deal closing or purchasing the vehicle.
